Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions provide a general overview of our membership and training policies. Full details are outlined in your signed Simplicity Personal Training Agreement, which will take precedence in the event of any inconsistency.
1. Sessions & Bookings

One personal training session equals 30 minutes.

Clients may book 60-minute sessions, which are treated as two consecutive 30-minute sessions and deducted accordingly.

Sessions are scheduled and reserved in advance.
2. Cooling-Off Period

A 7-day cooling-off period applies from the date of signing.

If sessions are used during this period, charges may apply.
3. Session Cancellations
-
A minimum of 12 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule a session.

Sessions cancelled or missed with less than the required notice will be forfeited.
4. Payments & Billing
-
Weekly memberships are billed weekly in advance via automatic direct debit.

Clients may also choose to prepay their program in full upfront. Prepaid programs are paid prior to commencement, with no further payments processed during the program term.

Members are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for scheduled payments.

Failed payments may result in sessions being suspended until payment is brought up to date.
5. Membership Cancellation

All memberships require a minimum of 14 days’ written notice to cancel.

Cancellation requests must be submitted by email to management.

Memberships do not automatically end after the initial program term. Payments will continue unless written cancellation notice is received.

The 14-day notice period applies at the end of the initial program term and at any time thereafter, including if a membership has continued beyond the minimum term.
6. Minimum Term & Early Termination

Memberships are subject to a minimum program term.

Cancelling before completing the agreed term may result in an early termination fee.

Special circumstances may be considered on a case-by-case basis.
7. Membership Suspension

Temporary suspensions may be available for 2–4 weeks.

A minimum of 7 days’ notice is required.

Suspension requests must be made in advance.

Memberships cannot be cancelled while on hold.
8. Refunds, Transfers & Session Expiry
-
Memberships and sessions are non-refundable.

Memberships may be transferred to another person.

Prepaid sessions must be used within the applicable program period. Any unused sessions expire in line with the terms of the prepaid agreement unless approved in writing.

Refunds are assessed in line with the Australian Consumer Law.
9. Trainer Availability

Trainers may change due to availability.

Training programs continue regardless of trainer changes to ensure consistency.
10. Health & Liability
-
Clients are responsible for disclosing any medical conditions or injuries prior to training.

Trainers provide fitness instruction only and do not offer medical advice.

Participation in training is undertaken at the client’s own risk.
11. Privacy, Disputes & Consumer Law
-
Personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
-
Any concerns or disputes are managed in line with our Dispute Resolution Policy.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
